The spring awakening

From among the dazzling patches of snow,

they are sprouting at random some other green bush.

Repeating their annual rite,

the robin is jumping between the dry leaves,

silently watched from above by a restless butterfly.

Neither the one nor the other realizes that the light morning breeze that accompanies them,

already brings with it hints of spring heat.
